FELL CHAMPS, Summer Series and High Fell Series after CRACKEN EDGE and the Turner Lanscape

Tom Whittington has already commented on the Turner Landscape HFS results which are also included in the overall FellChamps.

Good Turnout with 19 Harriers out last night in the Cracken Edge race.The results are on the Hayfield website:

Anyway in a large field of 206 4 harriers featured in the top 20 with Nathaniel Booker 4th; Mark Burley 15th; Chris Bentley 18th and Allen Bunyan 20th. Our ladies did well with Alannah Birtwistle 2nd overall; Kathleen O'Donnell 3rd FV 40; Clare Griffin 1st V45 and Julie Gardner 1st V55

Wrt the Fell Champs table scores, based on time relative to the winner, these were lower than normal as the winner was International Steve Vernon and also (unless you were near the front) bottle-necking which affected times. Can't believe I was 20 mins quicker in 2000 aged 53 (47min 30) but happy to be running and the banter.
See attached updated table: Matt Lewis still leads overall with other closing in! Kathleen still leads the ladies from Alannah who has a race in hand.
Wrt the Summer Series. No change with Billy Hicks leading with Chris Bentley and Mark Burley battling for 2nd. For the ladies Alannah leads with Kathleen 2nd.
