I am also keen to add venues to this list especially at least one which would allow us to run in the Alderley Edge woodlands.
Suggestions please.

Really could do with some feedback on further venues, especially the Alderley Edge area as suggested in the original post.
Cheers. Craig.

How about Drum & Monkey? Not been in for a while but it's handy to nip round through Alderley then up onto the Edge via Squirrels' Jump.

The Cock Inn is the usual venue for the Alderley Edge runs.

The 'Drum and Monkey' is the best pub to use in Alderley Edge. It's real name is the Moss Rose and it is down a track off Hayes Lane (back road towards Dean Row) at Grid 849 786.

I could also do you a nice run from the Quiet Woman at Earl Sterndale, or from the pub in Rowarth (if I could remember it's name).

So what we could do is run from the Sycamore at Thornsett to the Little Mill at Rowarth, have a couple there and then run back again.

And if that's not far enough, on the way back go via the Golden Lion at Llangynhafal.
