High Fell Series: Langdale - Sat 12th Oct 11am

As there were no takers of Dalehead a few weeks ago we are offering a 2nd bite of the cherry and are adding the Langdale Horseshoe in as the last race in the series.

Six harriers are already entered so there will be car sharing opportunities. The race will fill up so get involved!

Langdale is one of the classics - but at 21km/1450m is much shorter than the likes of Wasdale or Ennerdale. The scenery is spectacular (when you can see it). Taking you right through the Landale Pike, over Bowfell and Crinkle Crags. With a mix of bog and rocky sections expect to get your feet wet. The start/finish is at the Old Dungeon Ghyl and a well earned pint with your name on it awaits.

Langdale Horseshoe - Anyone else car sharing for the race this weekend?

I've (mis)counted 12 Harriers, though no ladies yet. I think I'm aware of at least 4 cars going North. A few places still available for anyone who has waited to see the scorching weather forecast...
