Believe it or not it's going to be a cracking day Sunday, so time to get out high and scenic to enjoy the sunny, clear cold weather. The route from Mam Nick will follow the airy Mam Tor ridge towards Hollins Cross before dropping down to Castleton then circling back; high above Winnats pass with views towards Kinder and the Edale Valley.
All off-road. Out for about 2 hours. Bring the sunglasses. Don’t forget your NT membership card. The car park is National Trust.
Afterwards at Stocks Cafe, 4-6 Market Pl, Chapel-en-le-Frith, SK23 0EN.
If convenient meet at Tucker's for a 9am departure to car share. Otherwise park, meet and run from Mam Nick car park.
