Dave made it round in 22:15. Great effort! Didn't manage to stay awake in the pub though... so does it count?...

Very well done Dave. Looking out of the window here, I thought the weather was being reasonably kind to you given the forecast. What was it like in the Lakes?

Congratulations Dave, looks like you flew around. Will here all about it a week Wednesday if you are out on the run. I'm off to the Dolomites this Wednesday for some R&R.

Well done Dave, you didn't look much more tired on the last leg than the first. Weather was a bit damper though.

Wonder if fourteen supporters on one leg (in the pouring rain) is any sort of record ....

.... and good luck for Digby on a couple of weeks or so.

excellent well done dave.
As I struggled back to Dunmail when the weather came in I was thinking how tough it must have been for you on leg 4. It took me loads longer to get back to the car than I thought it would and it took me a while to find the right valley back to dunmail. I was absolutely done in when I got back to the car! It would be very easy to lose time in such weather. Excellent effort well done.

Well done Dave. Excellent run, you looked strong all the way. Given the conditions, and the cow pie, you can be excused for falling asleep half way through leg 6.

Well done Dave,a fine effort only marred by a weak performance in the pub!
From the photos i`m very worried about Digby, contender falling asleep is one thing, supporters doing so shows serious weakness.Anyone got any ideas for a toughening-up programme for Diggers.

Bernard Manning - I can just imagine what he would say about a load of blokes running round in little shorts!

Do we know if Welsh Harrier`s mate from Tattenhall got round?
For Martin`s benefit,he went off like a rocket, took 25 minutes off Dave on leg1 & was about28 minuts up coming into Dunmail, but lost several minutes with a bad line off Seat Sandal. He lost some more time we think with less than optimum lines across Langdale but was right with us(ie 30 miutes p) at Bowfell.
After that we never saw him again
