Ross BG this week

Postby phil cheek » Mon Jul 16, 2007 10:25 pm

Does anyone have enough influence on young Ross to adapt his plan for the Bg this weekend?
Ross, you`re down for legs 2 &3.....why not start at 6.30 from Keswick, maybe carrying your basic kit, stay with Diggers till Scafell & see how it goes.
There`s tonnes of support, and spare competent navigators if you`re ahead or behind.
We all know you`re good enough, get it done!(please)

Ross - you should go for it. There's plenty of support; you only need to prepare hill food for each of the legs as everything else is arranged. Give me a call on 0771 749 7640 and we can discuss logisitics.

Cheers, Digby

I'm very flattered by all your support and encouragement. It's very tempting to give it a go but I suppose I have other priorities this year. On the 29th I'm off to France to race in the La Plagne 6000d and then I'll be trotting around the TMB race route. I'm not sure I could compete against the french in La Plagne if I'd done the BG the week before!
And anyway my legs are still absolutely trashed after the Wasdale.
Also I'm really looking forward to supporting Digby and hopefully I can help him to be succesful this weekend.
Thanks again for all your support and I'll definitely be giving it a go next year.
See you guys this weekend.

And he had witnesses at Wasdale who have already made a mental note of this!
