With Angela Mudge in the field there must be a good chance Anne`s ladies record will go,particularly if conditions are even half decent as Anne ran much of the 1st 10 miles on ice & I seem to remember was nearly half an hour down on schedule by then.
Anyway, good luck & safe home to fast &slow alike(&the photographic gardener)

Well worth reading kath`s updates on the website Jules has given a link for.
Anne`s record did indeed go,angela Mudge finishing 8th,and 2nd non Nepali.
importantly Kath & Louise both finished, well done both.
My friend Ed Watson, who some of you know,& his daughter both finished as well.
Hope you are recovering well if you get to read this,& have a good trip home.

Well done girls. Fantastic achievement just getting there never mind completing the race.

I hope Grego has some good photos of you two and not just the imposters he posted on the Sleepmonsters gallery. "Kath and Greg Turner" was the caption. Never seen them before in my life. Not a single shot of you two did he post, unless you count the fancy dress group when you could just about be seen.

Once again, very well done. See you both soon. You should be super-fit for the Handicap with all that high altitude training.

We're back

What a shock to the system - yesterday Nepal, today Macclesfield.
Thank you to everyone that has donated to our webpages.

This has been a very tough last few weeks and will take a time to recover, and re-acclimatise, for a number of reasons.

Hopefully, I'll be out and about this week.

I can hear Louise coughing from here - and her office is 2 floors above mine.... might wait a couple of days before I ask for all the gory details.

Well done all, glad you made it round (and back).

There are some very attractive long haired Yaks but Cath is more likely to go for the hairless variety (Greg in a red robe?).
