Craig,

Rumour has it that Sutton Hall has closed down... The front gates were locked last time I passed. Can anyone else confirm this ?

In the Cheshire real ale mag (can't remember it's name) it said Sutton Hall would close for refurbishment and was expected to open up again as a somewhat more upmarket joint - no real ale etc.

If it is out of commission for whatever reason, we could run from the Winking Man over the Passing Clouds race route (if we don't get lost!) which is the following Sunday and is the Cheshire Champs race.

Thinking on, it might be dark I suppose, but if we can navigate it in the dark without getting lost / losing Woody the race should be a doddle - in fact we could suggest to John he runs the race in the dark.
