Roaches Fell Race. Sunday 11th Nov.

As many of you will know club member Andy Addis ( who now lives in Newcastle on Trent which is why we don't see him too often ) has organised this race with help from club members. This year the club is taking on more of the organisation as the race has grown more popular but support for marshaling etc.. has dwindled a little.
So please mark the date in your diary & step forward to help with this race. Many of the helpers would still be able to run the race ( as I hope too ) & of course Marshalling points are available within the Club Fell Champs.
It would be useful if folk could post below their offers of help here & mention whether they want to run in the race.
Cheers. Craig.

Craig,
I`ll happily get up early and do my usual carparking duties outside the hall & then have a run.
Can also help with course marking on saturday.

Hi Craig, I'm happy to help on Sunday before the race and after (serving tea is quite good fun!) but I'm not sure what state I'll be in on Saturday (or where I might be) after me stag do!

Happy to help wherever, I had intended to run but if you're short of Marshalls stick me down for one of these posts.

I'm happy to help in whatever way - I'm off to Nepal a couple of days later so won't be racing that weekend - don't want to take any chances and end up injured.

Just don't ask me to bake anything in the cake department - it isn't my 'specialism' - as 'im indoors can testify.

Put me on the route somewhere. Top of Shut? But don't mind where. Best to marshal as this is a very wicked race with lots of hills and severe obstacles like raging river crossings along its length.

Very happy to help. I'll be running so best before as after most people will have packed up and gone home by the time I get back!

Keen to help on the Roaches - Let me have the most exposed and weatherswept checkpoint and I will be quite happy as I seem to have a much higher immunity from the cold than the rest of you (can't think why)
