Barry Blyth, 3rd in British & English V60 Fell Champs 07

Postby Beneficial Dictator » Wed Oct 24, 2007 1:46 pm

Just a brief note to congratulate Barry who has lived up to my prediction earlier this year.
As the title above suggests he has finished 3rd in both the British & English Fell Championships. Both championships were very competetive so much so that 7 of the top 10 in the V50 champs are actually V60's.
Not time at the moment to give Barry's achievements there due attention. Look out for an article on the main website home & fell pages.
WELL DONE & CONGRATULATIONS BARRY !!.

Congratulations Barry, this is a great achievement considering your early season injuries, well done.

thanks chaps. I'm fortunate to have the physiology and (touch wood) relative freedom from injuries that allows me to be competitive. Craig's comment at the beginning of the season re his predictions and "no pressure Barry" gave me an added impetus. Thanks again Craig.

Well done Barry, what`s really scary is that there are 2 other 60+s at least as quick as Barry.

Winning is all and 2nd is nothing. What does that make 3rd? Hopefully will do better next year.
