Fell Handicap-who`se coming?

Postby phil cheek » Mon Dec 03, 2007 7:46 pm

All,
There seem to be more names than ever on the list this year,Good.
It would help if I can get an idea of who`se planning to run (&give Rona some idea of numbers).
So,if you`re a definite yes or a definite no just post a reply to this please, identifying yourself if you`ve got a silly aviator!!.
I`ll send you a PM with a start time.
Two opportunuities to get a minute or several of extra leniency...a quick reponse to this post &/or a beer for the handicapper at the club Friday night party.
Julian, can you do one of those funny map thingys(or is that thingies) with the route marked on for me for the website pls?

I'll be there nearly winning it again like I did last year. No Tanky's weather though please and do reflect those performances in the rankings.

Just discovered I can`t do PMs,so acknowledgements & indications of start-time will be on this thread.
Phil Barnes with your extra 2 minutes bonus for 1st reply & with the 2 minute penalty for being such a creep you will start between 1010 & 1020.Don`t forget I`ve got that bleeptest tape here for you.
Barry,you will have a good lie in,at your age you need it,start between 1030 & 1040.

I will definitely, probably be there. Well actually yes, providing it's not raining.
And following my recent 24hr observation in hospital where they scanned my head and found a small turnip shaped object, I demand, nay I insist on a handicap that reflects my status as an over the hill vegetable.

Phil,
I'm hoping to throw away the crutches and be there although haven't run seriously for 8 weeks, and never run the handicap route the "silly" way round (who's idea was that???)
Happy to start around 10.00........... please?

Good idea Justin, although you did get to say hello to everyone doing it in reverse! If I`ve been generous with your handicap you might be lonely for a good while this year. You start just after 0945.
