Fell Handicap-who`se coming?

Moderators: Philip Barnes, Neil Gunn, Colin Ardron, Julian Brown, Nancy

Postby Dave Parry » Wed Dec 12, 2007 4:14 pm

Phil, Craig,

After last Sunday's run from Common Barn, Rona pointed out that she doesn't have enough cups / mugs for 40+ people ... Do we still have a stash of Langley 7 mugs in the clubhouse we could lend to Rona for the day? If not, it may be advisable to bring a mug, especially if you are one of the slower runners (or fast runner with a bad handicap ...).

Phil, my achilles tendon is playing up at the moment and is definitely not up to 15 miles, so I can help out at the start / finish if you like...
Craig, what time do you plan to set off for the shorter version ?
Maybe we could do the original club handicap route which was only ever about 8/9 miles ....

See you Sunday

HI Phil,
Count me in as a late entry. Remember I've been getting slower all year and I've just returned from Honeymoon so will be carrying a ball and chain!

I might be able to provide transport from buxton. I'm waking up most mornings just outside new mills these days and a slight detour via buxton on a crisp winter morning might be nice. If you want to give me a call rachel, i'm on 07949 640608

Bad news Phil. I shall not be out Sunday due to cold like infections which I do not want to exacerbate by facing such a grueling challenge as the handicap. I need to be prudent to avoid it getting worse. Please accept my apologies.
