News of Chris,
Unable to run Chris took up an old interest in horseriding.Big mistake as he had a bad accident on Boxing Day when his horse tried & failed to jump a barbed wire fence.
After a couple of weeks in hospital Chris is now home with a pinned broken ankle & wrist. One`s a left & the other a right so at least he`s balanced!
I spoke to him last night & he sounded his usual cheery self.

I sympathise and empathise with Chris. In my younger days I was a keen horseman. Unfortunately the horse wasn't as keen as me, and my horse riding days came to an abrupt end when I wanted to go one way and the horse decided to go the other. That might not have been so bad had it not been for some inconsiderate tree which had decided to grow just in line with the trajectory of my flight out of the saddle.
It was after this episode that I decided to settle down and take up more sedentary pursuits.
