Pros & Cons for either.
English is obviously easier logistically.
Are any of the individuals involved committed to 1 or other(Barry I guess)
You`ll have CFR to beat & they might be quicker than us but they don`t travel well & don`t navigate well off their own patch.

I plan to do as many as I can of both. Have confirmed entry so far for Black Combe (March) and 3 peaks. Anyone else doing the former. I think Rachel was considering.

Chris,
You`re an honorary Harrier & have been well trained & therefore exempt from my comment, which you will know more than most is true.
Barry,
You MUST recce this,it looks easy BUT if the clag is down,& that`s why it`s called "Black" Combe,it is very easy to go wrong. It also has one of the steepest descents I know.a visit to Annette`s is in order.

Phil

I was last in this race about 10 years ago having headed for Bootle (Phil you know where that is!) in the clag.

As far as British/English are concerned, I'll have a crack at some of each - Moel Eilio's good fun - bit like a shorter version of Carneddau.!
