I am Geof. I knew you and Rachel Lawrence were on the entry list (full at 400) but was told you were injured. Assume you are OK. Can share a car.

Entry list seems to be here...

http://www.bcrunners.org.uk/BCentries.htm

just Rachael, Barry and Geoff amongst the 400.

Geoff was going like a train in Shropshire on Sat, clearly getting back to form !!! hope to get along to your birthday do but as it's after the watershed I will probably nod off.

Sounds good! I am able to run now but am v unfit as have only run 4 times in 2008!! I intend to do Blakcombe even if it is v slowly just to get a counter in. It may be best not to share a lift as, as soon as i finish i will be getting in the car to help sort out astbury village hall for the party.
50@50 is still the vision but it will be body dependent!
c at cloud 9 (i will be onfinish funnel as usual)

Yes i am also running next weekend. It would be great to get a lift if possible -- i need to get straight back to macc for a family do so don't mind not hanging around.
I will be at Cloud9 on sunday so could we catch up there to confirm??

There are 6 places available in the race according to their web site bcrunners.org.uk.

I was doing OK upto the last checkpoint. In the mist, stong wind, face blasted with hale/sleet/rain I deviated too much to the left (with ca 5 others) and lost 12 places (ca 6 minutes) and dropped to 4th V60 from 2nd. Ironically I finished ahead of Dave Spedding who didn't go wrong. I didn't manage to beat him last year. Rachael deviated to the right from the same CP and lost a bit of ground.
