An aide to training!?

I don't know how interesting this will be, but there is a free website called www.mapmyrun.com
It allows you to plot your favourite runs using google earth, then measures distance, climb, calories etc. You can then use the calender to plot your mileage, progress etc.
There are loads of routes already posted, so if for instance you are looking for new route in Bolly, a search will reveal that there are already 7/8 routes logged. Check it out.

And don't post anything saying that I would run faster if I didn't waste my time on stupid websites

There's another website which does much the same thing - but without the search facility (so you have to save the link somewhere). Here's a rough version of the Handicap route (without Teashop detours): http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=477598
For anyone working at Alderley Park for AZ I have about a dozen routes already mapped from AP.
best wishes, Mike G
