Shuttlingsloe Fell Race Whit Monday 26th May 08.

Postby Beneficial Dictator » Wed Mar 12, 2008 2:46 pm

This year the Shuttlingsloe Fell Race which is part of the fete at Crag Hall, Wildboarclough on Whit Monday 26th May is hosting a round of the English Junior Fell Champs.
There will be races for from age 8 & upwards as well as a senior race. We have been approached by Jon Mayne the race organiser who has run with us a few times ( but is currently battling long term injury ) for some assistance. Janet & myself will be helping & Bob Lynch is also a likely helper, probably acting as timekeeper.
It would be great if there were 4 or 5 other volunteers who could help & if you want too you will be able to run in the seperate seniors race. This is a quality, very steep, short race 2mile 900 ft. Please either post here or let me know if you can help.

PS. Bring your Offsprings to have a go at the junior races also.

Cheers. Craig.

Still could do with one or two helpers at this race to help with the Junior races which will be before the senior race. If you help you can still run in the seniors race.
Hope to see some of you their.
Craig.

I'd be happy to marshal, I've been trying to encourage the u11s to enter and a couple of my crew might have a go, should be fun!

Jon Mayne the race organiser would like all those volunteering to marshall for the junior races to arrive for 12 midday ish. All details of the races are on the following link www.wildboarclough.co.uk/fell_race.htm
Hope to see some of you there & don't forget helping with juniors races will not prevent you running in the seniors race.
Cheers.
Craig.
