Kipling Kaper Saturday 29th March

Postby Nancy » Sun Mar 23, 2008 11:21 pm

Is anyone else doing this? (It's an LDWA event from Meerbrook, so fairly local, going round Rudyard res, Wincle, Wildboarclough and the Roaches. 20, 26 and 28 mile options. Food was quite good last year, particularly at the Wildboarclough checkpoint.)

There's limited parking so I'm looking to share a lift.

NB (and that's not just my initials): last year I took just over 6 hours, so if you car-share with me, be prepared to wait.

I'm doing it again Nancy but will do the runners start this year and can't really offer you a lift - are you on the runners or walkers start?

I'm planning on the runner's start this year (I didn't know about it last year, and I guess you and Chris didn't either).

I might do it , but would be very slow as I've not run for nearly 3 weeks now due to back problems, but need to get going again......and have a reason not to stay in and decorate.
I am willing to share lift.
What's the start time(s)?

Event Full

The LDWA website now shows this event as full.

Sorry if you are condemned to a day of decorating, mudskimmer. I've got my entry so I'm alright!

The runners start at 9am (walkers at 8am).

I have entered, but as a walker.

I had to stop running 6 weeks ago. Metatarsal joint buggered  so LDWA for me for now.
