Anyone else doing the Skyline race on Sunday? If so, a lift share would be a good idea me thinks...
Cheers

Edale Skyline

Postby Andy Skelhorn » Thu Mar 27, 2008 12:46 pm

I am doing the Skyline, but would greatly appreciate a lift, as Becka wants the car (and the old white Audi is now Kaput). As dog's are not allowed on this one Lilly can stay at home and poo on the lawn, although dogs may be a better safety measure than mobile phones because they can flag down passing helicopters with a dead sheep when there is no reception for mobiles.

Hi Mr T, and Monsieur Skellhorn I am also partaking of a piece of skyline pie, I am happy to drive if thats acceptable. John if you were to make your way to my house, and Andy I can pick you up on route to Edale. What time do we need to be there for gents?

That'd be great Larry. The race starts at 10.30am so I was thinking 9.30 in Edale or is that just too keen?! Give us a bell (07855 458404) and remind me what house number you're at Larry.
cheers Jon

Any time suits me. I am at 5 Waterhouse Ave in Bollington, or can meet you at the bottom of my road hill by the papershop next to the post office. Just let me know when

Reet chaps, Jon get to me (135 Park Lane) for say quarter to 9 ish. Andy will pick you up at papershop at 9 to five past, that should give us plenty of time to register, and get scared. Any problems, questions, or queries please contact me on 07901 710811, otherwise see you Sunday morning for a pint of skyline ale, with a side of bog trotting.

Larry

Well done to all macc harriers yesterday. Results below:

http://www.dpfr.org.uk/index.php?p=news/skyline_provisional.html

Great runs from Ian Hughes (he was floating over Kinder at the end) and Rachel Lawrence (3rd lady). Jon T, Lawrence and Andy all looked too fresh at the finish so definitely more to come from them. Hopefully see you guys in the lakes for some of the classic longs!
