Due to unavoidable work committments, I will be unable to use my number for this race
Unless Lilly tells me today that she wants it, it is available to the highest bidder!
My understanding is that swaps within the same club are permissable.

I'm curious.
My race experince at L events is very limited: a couple of Lake district Trials (and only the short trial at that), a couple of Sandstone trails and a few KIMMs. Would this sort of race require any special preparation, or could one get by with a modicum of fitness and sufficient determination? I feel a bit naive !

Oh all right then.
I reckon you`ll be fine as long as you start conservatively.
It`s years since i did this race but they always used to have a minimum experience requirement.Just be careful you don`t fall foul of that.
Though I`d have thought Kimms & OS Trials should be enough.
