Friday night run in the Lakes

Postby Digby » Tue Apr 22, 2008 12:17 pm

I'm entertaining a long overnight run in the Lakes this Friday and was wondering if anyone might be interested in joining me? I'm considering various plans - the longest version being BG legs 1 and 2 and then back to Keswick via the hills on the west side of Thirlmere with the intention of getting back home around lunchtime or earlier on Saturday. My plans and timings are flexible and negotiable but, as a minimum, I would like to recce leg 2 in the dark if poss.

Anyone else interested?

Cheers, Digby

I might be interested in a run in Scotland though. Are you still planning on going up over the May day hols? If so I'll give you a phone. Probably won't make it out on Wednesday evening this week.

I may well be interested, but cannot get away before 5, and am stuck for transport as Becka wants the car

Digby,
Can`t make Friday but what`s the score on your Ramsay.Timings, accommodation etc.?
Annette has it in her diary & so have I,though both of us will be of limited use, perhaps a carry somewhere or somewhere where we can miss out a few out&backs.

Sounds very tempting but instead I'll be travelling miles from proper hills and bog trotting round the 3 peaks. Enjoy.
