'Greg the Gardener' - supported? by Woody and Wardy will be in the Lakes this weekend setting off on their 2 week adventure -The Coast to Coast.
I believe they set off Sunday - so will be around and about in the Lakes Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and I'm sure would welcome the company.
I think Tucker & Parry have already arranged to join them there for a couple of days.

I shall be conquering the many hills surrounding Kampala, and everyone is more than welcome to join me. Might I suggest, however, that the climate is not at all suitable for some of Englands more traditional root vegetables?

I shall be in the Lakes this w/e. Greg and friends - what time do you think you'll be around Kidsty Pike? (assuming you're doing the Wainwright C2C route).

We are planning to be in Lakes Sunday and Monday. No more plans than that at the moment, except looking forward to glorious weather (!) and a few long days out in the hills.

Pish posh! We are nothing if not adaptable. I recommend Govindas veggie restaurant in Kampala where you may sample the delights of the local root vegetables.

Seems like lots of folk going Lakesward, can we get something together?
Annette is away in Scotland & her house is available if we want it.
Suggest those available talk tomorrow, unless someone has something concrete to suggest.
Alternatively we could travel 2000 miles or so to watch 2 of our best fellrunners go head to head!!!Oh, or we could sack our manager for exceeding the target we set him.
How sad am I to even know this.
Finally, I lost pool, darts & table tennis to Redhead tonite, but he is utterly useless at tablefootball.....make him play you at that.
