Sorry this isn't really a fell-running post but I only know the Wednesday night crowd :D
Did the White Peak Marathon today. My first marathon. :)

Now I am going to rest a lot because I want to do Goyt's Moss on Wednesday :D

Well done Mark!

I did my first race of this year (Shady Oak Tough 10K) and boy don't my stiff legs bear testimony to it. I also will be doing the Goyt's Moss. It's a super little race. Bring midge repellant if weather at all warm.

Well done Mark. Having the surname of Tranter means that there may be another event that you might be interested in: Tranter's Round! Take a look at the following website for further info.: http://www.shr.uk.com/LongDistanceRecor ... RecordID=2

The record of 12h50mins is held by Mark McDermott, who is a fellow Macc Harrier.

Cheers, Digby

Thanks!
Yes, the Tranter round does have the advantage that it's shorter than the BG or Ramsey.
Maybe ...
