Cheshire League Round 1
Posted: Sun Apr 22, 2012 10:26 pmI had never attended a T&F meet before so was wondering what to expect today, my debut as U13B team manager. I was rather worried when the weather seemed so horrible in the morning. But a bit of blue sky appeared as we reached Stockport and on arriving at the track the sun shone on us - very nice. A few sharp showers during the afternoon but overall it was much better than the morning had been.
My U13B team performed their best, though they were somewhat reduced numerically due to injuries etc.; Robert and Joshua competed in 3 events each and Gavin in 1 in his first T&F competition. I enjoyed watching some great performances, but am still not sure how anyone could run around a track (it is so flat!).
