Macclesfield Harriers

Supposed to be at Macc this coming sunday. I'm doing the Whaley Waltz on sat but may have a go on sunday. Not having been to one of these before do we just turn up and run/throw/jump. What are the timings?

PS Apparently for throwing events the weight of the shot (etc) reduces with age. I think Alan can putt a marble! I'm stuck with a golf ball.

Marble putting for Alan starts at 11.30am and running away from the golf driving range shots (otherwise known as running) commences at 1pm!

There is a variety of events right up to 5K where I suspect most people's strengths lie. Although there is a steeplechase where you can get wet and at least feel like you are vaulting a country stile!

Barry, i will e-mail you the times as i have just received them from Bob. As we are a combined team with Crewe & Nantwich AC Bob would like to know in advance who wants to do what. But more importantly it would be great to see more seniors just turn up and have a go!
