Club Sail Flag - MISSING IN ACTION

Postby Neil Gunn » Fri Jan 09, 2015 6:54 pm

Hi all - the club's 'Sail Flag' (the one we use at events - about 4m tall with the club logo on it) has gone missing.

The committee have asked everybody they can think of to check but it has still not been found.

Please can you have a think where it might be and if you have any ideas, or know of its whereabouts let us know.

We are starting the process of buying a new one ... but they are not cheap!

Thanks

Hi Neil,
Has anyone checked with the coach firms that were used for the away meets of Cheshire and Northern League over the summer?
It's a long shot but U never know!!

Hi David...a very good thought but we didn't hire coaches this year....or if we did I didn't pay for them!

We had it at the fell relays and the packing was rather hurried due to the weather: could it have been shoved into the gazebo bag or similar by accident?

Hi Clare ... the gazebo is being used at XC today so maybe it will be discovered ... but in reality the gazebo is a tight fit so I doubt it is there.

Is it worth contacting the Fell Relay organisers in case they have it - does anybody have a contact?

Thanks for thinking of ideas!
