North Staffs Cross Country League

Postby Chris Cross » Sun Sep 14, 2008 5:40 pm

Hi All

Has everyone who wants to enter the North Staffs XC League either put there name on the lists in the club house or emailed me your name, date of birth and contact details. chris_in_ghana@hotmail.com

I will be doing the entry list on tuesday (16th) evening and no later. As for some reason the info didn't arrive from the league and entries are now over due.

Appologies for the rush

Chris
Cross country manager.

I've now posted the entries off for the North Staff's League.

I will put the list of pre entrants up in the club house before the first race on the 4th October.

If you are not pre entered and would like to run you can enter on the day.

Chris,

I intend going to the Race at Leek.
I assume from your post that I just enter on the day at the race.
Do I have to pay?
Also do you know if anyone else is going along?

Thanks

Mike G

Hi Mike

Sorry taken a while to reply.

You can enter on the day, and don't need to pay. As the club has paid the affiliation.

I'm assuming your a senior male runner. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Could I tempt you to join the rest of the senior male runners in doing the Greater Manchester League race in St Helens on the same day.

Chris,

Your assumption is correct - I am a senior male runner.
A couple of my friends (one lives in Lichfield, the other works in Leek) from our university days (25 years ago) have a tradition of competing in the Leek XC. Hence I'm not tempted to join the rest of the Senior Men at the GML.

Have a good run
best wishes, Mike G

Hi Mike

Didn't realise it was a nostalgic run at Leek XC. So I'll forgive you!

Have a good run yourself.
