Cross Country Championship Races

I've put up entry lists in the club house for the 3 championship races (1 for U11's).

I will be taking names down of those who want to be entered on the following dates:

Cheshire Champs Tuesday 14th December
North of England Tuesday 9th December
National Champs Date to be confirmed

Those who wish to run the national please could you indicate if you would be interested in used organised transport.

National XC champs appear to be on Sat 21st Feb somewhere in the big smoke.

The National Cross Country Championships
Age Groups, approx distances and timetable for the 2009 English National Cross Country Championships to be held at Parliament Hill on Saturday 21st February.

Under 15 Boys Championship (4.5K) at 11.05 am.
Ages 13 & 14 years as at 31st August/1st September 2008 FOUR to score – all accepted entrants may run.

*Under 17 Women Championship (5K) at 11.30 am
Ages 15 & 16 years as at 31st August/1st September 2008 FOUR to score – all accepted entrants may run.

*Junior Women Championship (5K) at 11.30 am
Ages 17, 18 & 19 years as at 31st August/1st September 2008 FOUR to score – all accepted entrants may run.

Under 13 Girls Championship (3K) at 12 noon
Ages 11 & 12 years as at 31st August/1st September 2008 (11 years on the day of competition). FOUR to score – all accepted entrants may run.

Under 17 Men Championship (6K) at 12.20 pm
Ages 15 & 16 years as at 31st August/1st September 2008 FOUR to score – all accepted entrants may run.

Under 15 Girls Championship (4K) at 12.50 pm
Ages 13 & 14 years as at 31st August/1st September 2008 FOUR to score – all accepted entrants may run.

Junior Men Championship (10K) at 1.15 pm
Ages 17, 18 & 19 years as at 31st August/1st September 2008 FOUR to score – all accepted entrants may run.

Under 13 Boys Championship (3K) at 2 pm
Ages 11 & 12 years as at 31st August/1st September 2008 (11 years on the day of competition). FOUR to score – all accepted entrants may run.

Senior Women Championship (8K) at 2.15 pm
Age must exceed 20 years as at 31stAugust/1st September 2008 FOUR to score – all accepted entrants may run.

Senior Men Championship (12K) at 3.00 pm
Age must exceed 20 years as at 31stAugust/1st September 2008 SIX to score – all accepted entrants may run.
