why K313?

In Graham Wilson's book Macc and Other Islands, published by Millrace, the author refers to

the mighty Kerridge Ridge (K313 as it is known in local mountaineering circles), the Stac Polly of the South

in the chapter entitled Ridgewandering.

The ridge of Kerridge looms over us in Rainow. It is a local high-point, 313 meters at its summit. Unlike K2 climbers, the vast majority of those who ascend Kerridge to enjoy its views make it back home, happy and safe.

Like Kerridge, we like to give our clients and partners that feeling of being on top of the world - high enough to see all the way to Snowdonia on a clear day - without costing the earth.

And you don't even have to get your boots muddy.
